Alex Ealy

Alex EalyAlex was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunication and Film, and from Cumberland School of Law in 2010. He was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2010.

While at Cumberland, Alex was an Impact Alabama Tax Volunteer where he was certified as basic tax preparer to provide free tax services for underprivileged families. He also was an active participant in Cumberland’s Street Law Program where he was assigned to classes in public and correctional schools in the Birmingham area and taught classes on juvenile law once a week.

Before joining King Simmons, P.C., Alex began practicing law with Legal Services of Alabama. His practice focused on property and housing law, where he defended Alabama’s most vulnerable citizens from mortgage foreclosures and ejectments.

Alex lives in Birmingham with his wife and their son. He is the Treasurer of the Birmingham Bar Associations Workers’ Compensation Section and was recently voted by his peers as “Top Attorney” in the “Rising Star” category in Birmingham magazine. He often speaks at continuing legal education classes and is a Make-A-Wish Alabama wish grantor.
